OUR TEAM

Shellie Kenyon, Clinical Assistant, 12 years : "What I enjoy most about my job is the end result I see working with the Doctor, utilizing my artistic and creative ability while fabricating crown and bridge work for the patient."

Jodi Carney, Clinical Assistant, 10 years: "I have had many positions in the 10 years I have been here with Dr. Slete. I am currently working as a dental assistant. This is my favorite position, because I enjoy being involved in the "hands on" treatment for our patients. It is a joy to be a part of the beautiful results we deliver to our patients."

Dannae Ratkiewicz, Financial Assistant / Hygiene Coordinator, 5 years: "Having worked here previously (1975-1983), I have enjoyed renewing my friendships with patients from the past and forming new friendships. I enjoy working with our patients, coordinating hygiene appointments and offering them financial choices to get the very best dentistry available."

Barb Carlisle, Appointment Coordinator, 23 years: "After 22 years of working knee to knee with Dr. Slete as a treatment Assistant, I am now working as the Appointment Secretary. I am the face you see first when you come into the office. I have found that my years of clinical experience are a tremendous benefit when helping our patients make treatment decisions and appointment sequences. I look forward to coordinating all the pieces of the schedule so that our patients are well taken care of. I love to see the end result of what happens in "the back", when people return to the front desk at the end of their appointments."

Ann Marie Benjamin, Registered Dental Hygienist and Periodontal Therapist, 20 years: "I have been working as a Dental hygienist here in our office for 20 years now! I am very happily married and have two wonderful daughters. The thing I enjoy most about our office-- all of our wonderful patients. Barb Murphy, Registered Dental Hygienist and Periodontal Therapist, 22 years: "I have been a hygienist since 1980, and with Dr. Slete since 1988. All aspects of my job are rewarding, but the thing I enjoy most is establishing and developing relationships with my patients. I like to know about their families, interests and what makes them tick. In knowing this, I can relate to them better and help them to develop a plan for improving or maintaining their health and well being."

Alison Gow, Registered Dental Hygienist and Periodontal Therapist, 2 years: " I have been working in dentistry for 11 1/2 years now. I started out as a dental assistant in 1999 before going to Ferris State University for dental hygiene. The thing I like the most about my job is getting to know my patients and developing a lasting relationship with them. This allows me to treat and counsel each person individually, according to their particular needs."
