Cosmetic Dentistry
There are almost unlimited possibilities which include the following:
- Bleaching: Professionally done with appropriate habit control the results can lighten teeth up to 8 shades and last up to 5 years.
- Recontouring: Most often used with mal-positioned teeth with varying height or lengths. Can be done when enamel isn't penetrated.
- Porcelain Veneers: Can be used when the majority of the tooth structure is sound, but positioning, shape, color or texture are less than ideal. They are bonded into place on the face of the selected teeth improving shape, color and overall presentation.
- Porcelain Crowns: Available as full porcelain, porcelain fused to white or yellow gold. Most often used where strength isn't an overriding factor that might be a patient with a heavy bite or bridgework replacing a missing tooth or teeth.
